ΖΩΓΡΑΦΙΣΜΕΝΗ ΛΕΞΗ

Απο το ομότιτλο άλμπουμ (Painted Word - 1985)των Television Personalities. Ενα άλμπουμ - ποπ ελεγεία, ψυχεδελική θρηνητική κραυγή για τον θατσερισμό της δεκαετίας το '80 - ίσως το καλύτερο έργο του Dan Treacy και της παρέας του. Όλα έχουν ενα κόστος. Η ζωή του Dan Treacy απο το 1998 πήρε την κατιούσα (ψυχικές διαταραχές, σκληρές ουσίες, άστεγος και τελικά φυλακή). Ωσπου το 2004, βγαίνοντας απο τη φυλακή, με τη βοήθεια των παλιών του φίλων απο τους TV Personalities, ξανάρχισε να γράφει, και το 2006 κυκλοφόρησαν ξανά νέο άλμπουμ (My Dark Places.. δικαιολογημένος ο τίτλος) - αρκετά καλό (οχι οπως παλιά βέβαια, αλλά ποιος θα μπορουσε μετα απ' όλα αυτά).
